1st Team Match Report

HYUFC Hayes & Yeading Utd 0
Hemel Hempstead T. 2
The Tudors opened up game 2 much the same as the first with early pressure that brought quick reward as a well struck curling effort from the right corner of the United box by David Pitt found the back of the net via the far post.

The Tudors goalscorer almost had a second with the United 'keeper pushing his effort wide of the target.

United's first clear sight of goal came on 14 minutes when a break on the right saw the ball pulled back from the by-line to Joakim Ehui who fired over from 12 yards. United continued to press for a goal with a chipped effort beating 'keeper and crossbar being the only effort of note before the break though.

United started the second period well, firing inches over just after the re-start before new arrival Ryan Ramsay tested the Tudors 'keeper from distance but he held on comfortably.

The midway point of the half saw the visitors double their lead as a burst through the middle saw the ball laid off left where the advancing player fired home from just inside the box.

Minutes later the visitors could have had a third but the effort was pulled wide of the target and ten minutes later United's first pre-season outing concluded.
